Locally, nationally, and internationally NoCOHIMA is a part of a network of vocal advocates for the Health Information Management profession. NoCOHIMA is dedicated to helping you find your passion in the field.
NoCOHIMA strives to provide Continuing Education (CE) hours in a fun and affordable format. Three meetings are held a year with 5-6 hours at each meeting. They are usually held in the Denver Metro area or North of the Denver area. For more information regarding the CE requirements please visit www.AHIMA.org.
NoCOHIMA supports student learners by providing students in HIM Programs at Arapahoe Community College and Front Range Community College free reduced membership and reduced conference fees.
Volunteers are the backbone of our organization. The Northern Colorado Health Information Management Association needs you! Whether you are interested in volunteering to help with an event or learn more about the HIM community, there is a place for you at NoCOHIMA.
NoCOHIMA is not funded by CHIMA or AHIMA. We rely on our membership dues to fund our programs. Thank you in advance for your support!! Be an active part of our community. Those who noted that they would like to volunteer to help in some capacity with NoCOHIMA on the membership application form will be contacted by one our Executive Board Members. Every pair of hands makes a difference. Thank you for stepping forward! Have you been thinking of volunteering or about running for office? Contact any board member for more information.
