Locally, nationally, and internationally NoCOHIMA is a part of a network of vocal advocates for the Health Information Management profession. NoCOHIMA is dedicated to helping you find your passion in the field.

NoCOHIMA strives to provide Continuing Education (CE) hours in a fun and affordable format. Three meetings are held a year with 5-6 hours at each meeting. They are usually held in the Denver Metro area or North of the Denver area. For more information regarding the CE requirements please visit www.AHIMA.org.
NoCOHIMA supports student learners by providing students in HIM Programs at Arapahoe Community College and Front Range Community College free reduced membership and reduced conference fees.

NoCOHIMA is not funded by CHIMA or AHIMA. We rely on our membership dues to fund our programs. Thank you in advance for your support!! Be an active part of our community. Those who noted that they would like to volunteer to help in some capacity with NoCOHIMA on the membership application form will be contacted by one our Executive Board Members. A Letter From Our 2025 President:
Welcome to NoCOHIMA! We are glad you are here! There are so many high hopes for 2025 around the world. With the incredible amount of changes we have all experienced through 2024 in our healthcare systems, 2025 brings us projections of hope, health and community! This community includes so much diversity of job opportunities which includes Coding, Revenue Cycle Management, Health Informatics, Data Analytics, information Governance and much more.
Here at NoCOHIMA, we hope to bring new and relevant, as well as helpful conferences to help you in this ever changing Health Information Management world we live in. Our chapter works hard to bring our members information that will transform each other by connecting, networking, and exchanging new ideas. Please consider joining our chapter or renewing your membership so we can continue to provide affordable ways to earn CEUs.
On that note, dues are $20 per calendar year. This only applies to the NoCOHIMA Chapter. However, as a member, you get a discounted fee for each conference, and you are able to vote for any new board positions that are available for the following year. Not only are you a valued member, but your opinion and ideas for items or topics that you would like to see are always welcome.
I want to thank the past president and volunteer board members for their direction and commitment and for their continued support. We are already meeting and planning the new schedule and events for the upcoming year. Please check back to see the dates of our conferences this year.

NoCOHIMA and CCC are going HYBRID!!

WHERE: PUEBLO COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND VIRTUALLY
OH NO!! NoCOHIMA and CCC (formerly SCHIMA) are doing it again. We're collaborating together on another conference. This time, we're going HYBRID!! This will be a first for NoCOHIMA, and we're excited to partner with CCC again. We'll update everyone once we get everything finalized, so please check back!!
